Expand your horizons: train across Europe
Right now the idea of experiencing new cultures and training in new countries seems pretty far off. But it might not be as distant as you think. Thanks to Urban Sports Club’s live classes we can meditate in Berlin, practice yoga in Barcelona, dance ballet in Paris and get fit in Brussels.
With our digital offering you can travel virtually across Europe, getting acquainted with new partners and trying out new things. Plus you’ll keep fit and stay healthy!
And, in the spirit of staying #activetogether, you’ll support your favourite partners every time you check-in.
To help you plan your next virtual city trip from the comfort of your couch, we’ve selected some awesome partners across Europe who are offering live classes. These courses are in English but if you’re looking to brush up on your Spanish, French, German or Italian there are tons of classes available in local languages too!
Barcelona
Let’s start our virtual tour with the beautiful yoga offer of Shanti Vida in Barcelona. The courses here are designed to guide the participants to an improved perception of self with styles for all levels and for every mood. By the end of each class you’ll feel in harmony with yourself and your surroundings – the perfect way to recharge your batteries.
If you just can’t get enough of that Catalan fire try out The Studio BCN: A multidisciplinary studio that specialises in power yoga, meditation, Pilates, corework, flexibility and more.
Berlin and Munich
Do you miss meeting new people? Then why not arrange a workout with like-minded people in Germany? Berlin’s long been known as a hub for yoga and in the last two years innovative concepts like Hotpod Yoga have positioned the city as an authority on groundbreaking new styles. Plus there are tons of places to try Vinyasa flow, a dynamic practice that connects your body and mind and will make you feel light as a feather by the time the class is over.
Or perhaps you’d prefer to spice up your endurance training? Then try HIIT workouts from Beat 81! Here you’ll power through 7 different cardio and strength exercises within 30 minutes. With breaks of course! Nevertheless, the Beat 81 workouts are guaranteed to make you sweaty, and the best thing is you won’t even notice the time pass!
Let’s travel 600km across Germany with just one mouse click and pay a visit to Anna Veronika AKA Roni, founder of Ronis Yogastudio. Opening a yoga studio was always Roni’s dream and now she adores sharing her knowledge, experience and passion for yoga with her students.
Brussels
When you think of Brussels, the first thing that comes to mind is perhaps the Atomium, the Grand Place or Manneken Pis. Yet the city has so much more to offer – at least in terms of sports. We’re loving Brussels Yoga Loft – a space where people from all sorts of backgrounds can come together in a warm, friendly, quiet and relaxed atmosphere and leave their stress behind with classes like Glowing Morning Flow classes or Yin sessions.
At Fitness Zone in Brussels, the HIIT workouts are so popular they take place twice a day. The mission of Fitness Zone is to make every training session as pleasant, fun and effective as possible.
Paris
The city of love loves sport and sport loves Paris. This is particularly obvious in The Space Paris. Here you can participate in Vinyasa and Yin classes in English or indulge in Yin-Yoga where you’ll stretch your connective tissue and find peace of mind through breathing and movement.
You want more?
Then Soft Heart Yoga with Hatha Yoga offers you an alternative. Here, the balance between body and mind is primarily found through physical asanas.
Petit plié, grand plié… it’s California Barre! Here you’ll combine fitness and Pilates with classical ballet exercises – perfect for targeted muscle building – and you’ll improve your coordination and balance at the same time.
If you want to work out at home after a long day, then MU:V is the place for you! A wide range of workouts awaits you here: from boot camp, functional training, cardio boxing to hatha and vinyasa yoga – whatever your interests, there’s something for everyone, even kids! At Family Fit parents can train together with their little ones.
Porto
In the city most famous for port wine you’ll find Manna Porto yoga studio. Here they teach the philosophy that physical well-being goes beyond healthy eating and drinking. The Hatha Yoga classes here aim to help as many people as possible apply these principles to life outside the classroom.
Rome
Sport in the eternal city! Yogassage offers Ashtanga-Yoga and Vinyasa-Flow classes in an entertaining way. The live online courses are led by Roberta, a full-time yoga teacher who’s been active in the fashion industry for many years. With positive energy she takes her course participants on an exciting journey in Rome.
